The MBA program at Progressive Insurance features the same curriculum and the same exceptional faculty as the MBA program offered at our main campus. We are proud of the 96% graduation rate among students in our corporate MBA programs.
The MBA program consists of foundation and advanced courses. Foundation courses are prerequisites (Levels I & II) designed to introduce students to the major functions in business including accounting, economics, finance, organizational behavior, marketing, business ethics, and operations management. Advanced courses (Level III) include functional core, integrative courses, and three electives. Please note that Level I courses are not offered at the Progressive location.
These three groups of Level III required courses are the heart of the MBA curriculum:
The Progressive MBA features a combination of accelerated 5-week and 10-week formats. Students with undergraduate business degrees may complete the MBA program in 15 months. Students with no business prerequisites can still complete the full program in approximately 2½ years.
The graduate admission application process involves three steps:
2) submission of official transcripts of colleges/university where baccalaureate degree was earned
3) submission of GMAT or GRE scores (not required for students holding a Ph. D. or medical degree).
Admission is based on a combination of a candidate’s undergraduate GPA and the GMAT score. Candidates who have a Ph.D. or M.D. are not required to take the GMAT. A GRE score may be substituted for the GMAT.
The current tuition and fee structure is published by the CSU Office of Treasury Services.
Eligible Progressive employees may qualify for tuition reimbursement. Information regarding third-party reimbursement may be found at the Office of Treasury Services page. Progressive employees should contact their Human Resources Department to determine eligibility.
